Virgental & Lienz, Osttirol
One of the most beautiful places in Austria is located in Osttirol which translates into East Tyrol. Definitely an insiders' tip, because of it's location. Eventhough Austria itself is not a big country at all, it's mostly covered by mountains. To get to Lienz, the capital of Osttirol by car takes more than five hours from Vienna.
