Nara
Nara (奈良市) is famous for it's old and well preserved temples. Many of them are even part of the UNESCO-world heritage program, named as "Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara". The Tōdai-ji is a Buddhist temple complex. Its Great Buddha Hall (大仏殿 Daibutsuden), the largest wooden building in the world! Nara is also famous for it's big amount of deers in the middle of the city!
