Québec
Québec city is the oldest city in North America - that's at least what I have been told. When I've seen the biggest French speaking city on the continent in the year 2008, they were celebrating a 400 years anniversary. Somehow you could tell the strong European influence, and also the French inheritance as they can't speak English or don't want to :-)
